Modern Sibyls: Anna
Oil on canvas, each measuring 90 x 60 cm (total 90 x 120 cm)
The diptych of Anna Davison (also Collini), an academic working at Kings College London, was made by Lindsay Simons (portrait) and Liz Collini (text work). A qualified doctor, Anna now specialises in clinical communication and dealing with uncertainty in clinical practice. The work was made following a session interviewing, sketching and photographing Anna in her office at Kings and in her home office. It is part of the collaborative project inspired by the ancient sibyls.
